David L. Tyler, 79 of Huntington, passed away Sunday evening January 1, 2023, at his residence after a short battle with cancer.

Dave was a fifth generation Funeral Director, serving Indiana families for over 55 years, Dave’s family had a combined 160 years of Funeral Service. Dave had worked at several firms over the years. He started at Geisen F.H. in Gary, then at Shawley F.H. in Marion and then moved to Huntington in 1973 where he finished up his career over the next 47 years. Dave worked for Deal & Robbins F.H. from ’73 – ’94 and then at Myers Funeral Home from ’94 – 2020.
