Catherine J. Merley

January 1, 1927 - April 5, 2021

Catherine J. Merley, 94, of rural Akron, Indiana passed at 4:00 am, Monday, April 5, 2021 at her residence. Catherine was born on Jan. 1, 1927 in Silver Lake, Indiana at her family home to the late John Isaac and Eva (Shilling) Sands. On May 4, 1947, she married C. William "Bill" Merley in Silver Lake. He preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2011.

Catherine's late husband and sons have been long time Batesville employees operating the Warsaw and Indianapolis warehouses.
