Randy Lynn Smith, Sr, age 68, of rural Kendallville, died Sunday, October 4, 2026, at home following a more than two-year long illness. Randy was born in Flint, Michigan, on December 8, 1957, to the late Tyrone Smith, Sr. and Willa Jean (Howard) Smith. He married Susan Centers on March 15, 1975, at Assembly of God in Kendallville, Indiana. Susan preceded him in death on August 14, 2026. Together they made their home in Kendallville over the past 60 years.
