Former Johnson County Coroner, Mike Pruitt, has resigned from his position as of 12:00 a.m. Aug. 5, 2026; he is no longer an elected official of Johnson County.
Amanda Swartz, Johnson County chief deputy coroner, is the interim coroner until a replacement is caucused in under statute.
