Thomas E. Myers, 79, of Decatur, Indiana formerly of New Haven, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at his daughter’s residence. He was born on April 27, 1946, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Melvin D. Myers and Anna (Liechty) Myers-Roop and his late stepfather, Kenneth Roop.

Tom began his career as a licensed Funeral Director and embalmer and worked for many local funeral homes in the Fort Wayne area including E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, and Midwest Crematory and Funeral Home. After 38 years as a Funeral Director, he retired in February 2023.
